One Nation has been selling racist stickers attacking Indigenous Senator Lidia Thorpe, depicting her as disheveled and on her hands and knees, along with the words “you stole my land”.

In the sticker the Senator is depicted wearing a t-shirt with an Aboriginal flag.

In another attack sticker, Thorpe is depicted on the back of a motorcycle, apparently being driven by a gang member.

Thorpe is the only politician to be singled out in stickers being sold by One Nation, which has three stickers attacking the Indigenous senator.

Hanson made headlines yesterday over refusing to remove a One Nation cartoon of Thorpe being run over by a bus, arguing it appeared “years ago”, in 2023.

Yet the Thorpe stickers are currently being advertised on the One Nation site.

The motorcycle sticker is being sold for $3.50. The other two are also advertised, but are currently marked “out of stock”.

Apparently without irony, the “you stole my land” Thorpe sticker is advertised alongside a sticker featuring Hanson and the words “criticism is not racism”.

The online One Nation shop is currently advertising “our latest series of stickers featuring quotes from Lidia”.

“From the defiant ‘You are marked’ to the provocative ‘You stole my land,’ these stickers are sure to turn heads and start conversations,” it states.

Speaking on 2BG yesterday, Hanson said she would not apologise for the 2023 Thorpe cartoon episode, called Under the Bus.

“Don’t tell me about my cartoons because they’re satirical,” Hanson said.

“And besides, that last episode happened years ago in the cartoon”.

Hanson’s refusal is despite widespread calls for political rhetoric to be toned down, following the attack on Helen Haines last week, which saw her lose both legs in an allegedly politically motivated attack.

It is also despite Australian Federal Police (AFP) Commissioner Krissy Barrett on Sunday warning politicians’ heated rhetoric is fuelling threats against MPs.

Thorpe, an independent Senator, said she had reported numerous death threats users had posted on Hanson’s social media pages, that One Nation had not removed over many months.

Last week Thorpe told the ABC she worried about her safety each day had and that she had previously been warned by the AFP not to go home over concerns for her safety.

Multi-billionaire Gina Rinehart is the biggest funder of both One Nation and far-right lobby group Advance, making her one of, if not the biggest, funders of hateful material in the nation.

Hanson’s deflection of the Thorpe cartoon as “satirical” is in direct contrast to Rinehart, who has been running a high-profile campaign against the ABC over a satirical segment on her in July.

As reported by The Klaxon yesterday, Rinehart is refusing to say whether One Nation and Advance should tone down their rhetoric — or even if politically rhetoric should be toned down generally.

Instead, via a spokesperson, she pointed to the July ABC segment featuring her.

After an official complaint from Rinehart, who threatened to sue, the ABC apologised and removed the segment.

That was despite the independent ABC Ombudsman determining it did not breach the ABC’s editorial standards and labelled the segment “satirical and exaggerated commentary” and not a call for violence.

Hanson, who has built a following spreading bigotry and promoting racist hate — against Indigenous Australians, Asians and, more recently, Muslims — has been surging in the polls since late last year.

That coincided with an appearance by Hanson at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort last November, and vast amounts of MAGA-style, pro-Hanson propaganda flooding social media.

As previously reported, bogus “news” pages on Facebook are aggressively pro-Hanson and pro-Rinehart propaganda.

Hanson and Rinehart have said they are not funding the sites.

In February on Sky News Hanson suggested there were no “good” Muslims. She later issued a partisan and heavily qualified apology.

In July the Federal Court upheld at appeal an earlier finding that Hanson racially discriminated against Muslim Senator Mehreen Faruqi in a 2002 tweet telling her to go back to Pakistan.

Judge Angus Stewart, who presided the 2024 case, said phrase was “a racist trope with a long history”, and “implicitly” targeted Muslims.
