The Federal Government and Labor Opposition have both called out the Anglican Church for shifting $40 million of its child rape liabilities into a taxpayer-funded aged care provider. Yet there are no laws outlawing the practice.

The Anglican Church is using its embattled - taxpayer-funded - aged care arm Anglicare Sydney to pay out millions of dollars a year in church child sex abuse claims. The aged care giant has been secretly laden with almost $40 million in historic abuse liabilities.
